XCEDE technology achieves exceptional pump lifetime extension through corrosion protection combined with resistance to galling and seizure. It provides increased durability , maintaining the vacuum performance. Depending on the application, Xcede surface treatment can lengthen the life of your pump, typically doubling its life or in some cases, by up to 9 times. XCEDE can be specified on new pumps or applied to Edwards iH, iXH and iXM pumps as an upgrade, during a service event.
